The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Egilsson throws a front kick aimed at Hughes's knee but Hughes avoids it well.
Egilsson instigates a clinch.
Egilsson is trying to trip Hughes. He has hold of a leg but Hughes is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Egilsson persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Hughes has his feet on Egilsson's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Egilsson throws a leg kick
and Hughes counters with a nice body shot.
Hughes drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hughes fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Egilsson is trying to improve his position.
You can see the frustration on Egilsson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Hughes is trying to get an arm triangle but Egilsson is defending well.
Hughes decides to stand up, so the ref orders Egilsson to his feet.
Hughes really is a fat lump.
Egilsson grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Hughes takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Egilsson cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
