Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Peter Rose!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Gon Non!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Sandra Marshall and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Non digs a good body shot into Rose's ribs.
Non getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Non shoots in for a double leg but Rose sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Non clinches.
Rose blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Non is working for takedown but Rose is calmly controlling the position for now.
Rose is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Non is defending well for now.
Non pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rose gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Rose breaks from the clinch.
Rose fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Non shoots for a double leg takedown but Rose sprawls well. He's pushed Non's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Peter Rose has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gon Non.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Non gets a clinch.
Non avoiding damage as Rose throws knees to the body.
Non manages to pull guard.
Non has his hands on Rose's head, controlling the position.
Non is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Rose is looking to stand up but Non won't let him.
Non pulls Rose in close to his closed guard and prevents Rose from doing any damage or advancing position.

Non has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Non wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Non tries to clinch but Rose moves out of range.

Rose shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Non but Non pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Rose tries to score a power double leg takedown but Non sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rose somewhat.

A little jabbing left from Non on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Non darts in and clinches Rose up against the cage.
Non slowing the pace effectively.
Rose throws a head punch that misses.
Rose is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Non to keep the fight standing.

Non is trying to drag Rose to the mat but Rose just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Rose goes for a takedown in the clinch but Non prevents it.
Non keeps control of Rose as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Non manages to break the clinch.
Rose moves into the clinch.
Rose's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rose is looking to take this one to the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gon Non dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Rose wants to clinch.
Rose gets tackled into the cage by Non. Non maintains the clinch.
Rose is trying to pull guard but Non turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Non is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Rose pulls him back up using the underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Non breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Non's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Rose shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Non pinned against the cage. Non gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Rose. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Non feints and as Rose raises his hands in defense, Non changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Non makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Rose keeping moving, preventing Non from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Non is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Rose preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Non not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Non lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Non connects with a couple of short punches.
Rose is rocked!
Non is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Oh Rose is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Non stands up over Rose, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Non gets to his feet and stands over Rose, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Rose felt that one! Non unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Rose from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gon Non!
