The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fairchild defends well against a solid takedown attempt from White.
Horrible takedown attempt by White or perhaps it was just good defense by Fairchild, which made it look bad.
A little feinted left hand from Fairchild on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
White closes the distance and clinches up with Fairchild, looking for a takedown. White pushes Fairchild against the cage but Fairchild circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
