Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Kharitonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Sergei Kharitonov has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sergei Kharitonov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tim Ortiz! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Donatello Bradman and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kharitonov lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Kharitonov waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Ortiz. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Ortiz to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Ortiz can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kharitonov controls the pace. Ortiz wants to get back to his feet but Kharitonov is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Kharitonov engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ortiz wants to stand and escape but Kharitonov is having none of it. Ortiz being controlled here, momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kharitonov stands and steps away. Ortiz gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Ortiz takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Kharitonov swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ortiz. Ortiz throws a head kick that misses. Kharitonov instigates a clinch. Kharitonov is pressed up against the cage. Ortiz has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kharitonov down to the mat. Kharitonov avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. A looping hook to the body misses from Ortiz. Kharitonov does a little dance to reset his feet. Kharitonov connects with a body shot that sends Ortiz's belly button to the back. Ortiz has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Ortiz has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Kharitonov. Ortiz walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Kharitonov drops Ortiz with a naaaaasty hook - Ortiz is in real trouble here! Kharitonov dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sergei Kharitonov! A very excited looking Sergei Kharitonov made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
