17 - 8 - 2, fighting out of New York, Michael Carter Williams ! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams instigates a clinch. Williams tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Williams lands a hook to the side of the head. Williams goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Michael Carter Williams dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
