Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nathaniel Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nelson Muntz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Nathaniel Armstrong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
44 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Nelson Muntz! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Muntz throws a nice inside leg kick. Muntz dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Muntz walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Armstrong lands a really nice looking cross but Muntz seems unphased.
Armstrong takes a body punch but keeps moving. Armstrong scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Armstrong connects with a single shot there. Muntz chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Muntz - that will leave a mark!
Decent striking displayed by Muntz there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Armstrong uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Muntz.
Muntz throws a leg kick and Armstrong decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Muntz's guard. Armstrong is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Armstrong wants to pass the guard but Muntz is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Armstrong trying to control but Muntz is working from the bottom. Armstrong tries to free his leg and advance position but Muntz is retaining full guard. Muntz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Armstrong is one step ahead there. Muntz looking for a guillotine here but Armstrong defends easily.
Armstrong wants to control from the top but Muntz keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Muntz controls Armstrong momentarily but Armstrong frees himself. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Armstrong trying to control the position from guard on top but Muntz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Muntz tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Armstrong half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Armstrong misses with a hook. Muntz ducked under it nicely. Armstrong moves forwards but Muntz connects with a nice, crisp jab. Muntz waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Armstrong. Muntz looks to throw the jab but Armstrong is out of range. A low kick from Muntz misses and Armstrong counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Armstrong. Muntz looking to control.
Muntz manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Armstrong manages to get himself to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Armstrong is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Armstrong has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Muntz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Muntz controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Armstrong is looking to cinch up a triangle. Muntz throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Armstrong's body to avoid the submission. Armstrong has instead reached around Muntz's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Armstrong arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Nathaniel Armstrong! A determined Nathaniel Armstrong didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
