Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Steven Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yong Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stark comes to the cage accompanied by Sledgehammer!. Wright has chosen Neon Indian - Slumlord as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright slips a straight right by Stark.
Stark connects with a right hand. Wright shakes it off.
Wright thows a leg kick but Stark checks it
and Stark counters with a straight right hand.
Wright feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Stark's calf.
Wright takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Wright is rocked!
A slow jab from Stark misses its intended target.
Wright throws a leg kick but Stark checks it.
Stark swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Wright just misses with a punch to the body.
Stark tries a low kick but Wright avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stark appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Stark looks to land a right hand but Wright moved out of range.
Wright throws a looping overhand right but Stark ducks down to avoid it.
A little feinted left hand from Stark on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

It looks like Steven Stark has been cut.
Stark uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Wright.
Stark was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Wright seems to have recovered his senses.
A slapping leg kick lands for Wright.
A low kick from Wright is predictable there
and Stark connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Wright cracks Stark with an open hand slap.
Wright connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Wright throws a big shot that misses.
Wright turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Wright throws a hook but Stark blocks it.
An attempted straight right counter from Stark misses the target.
Yong Wright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wright looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Wright throws a low kick but it's checked well by Stark.
Wright avoids the head kick by Stark.

Stark uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wright.

Wright works Stark's body with a nice hook.

Stark takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Wright fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stark manages to avoid it.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Wright, right into the meat.
Stark ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wright moves away.
Stark on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Stark throws a lazy right hand but Wright sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Stark misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wright.
Stark is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wright.
Wright appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

Wright comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Stark steps into range and cracks Wright with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Wright flops backwards and Stark dives into his guard looking to finish!
Stark won't allow Wright to sweep him here.
Stark trying to control the position from guard on top but Wright is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Wright trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Wright keeping moving, preventing Stark from controlling successfully.

Wright not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Wright looking for a guillotine here but Stark defends easily.
Stark trying to control but Wright is working from the bottom.
Wright is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Wright fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Stark has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

A close round but Yong Wright will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Wright punishes Stark's body with a nice straight punch.
Stark comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Stark slips under a jab from Wright.
Stark looks to throw the jab but Wright is out of range.
Wright misses with a body kick.

A clash of legs there as Stark blocks the low kick.
Stark lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Wright tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stark was well out of range. Poor timing from Wright.

and Stark counters with a stiff right hand.
Stark swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Stark's corner calls for a 1-2. Stark obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

and Stark counters with a big left hand that crumples Wright! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!

Steven Stark bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
