Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Lambert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Pott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lambert comes into the arena with Aaron Lewis - Country Boy blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Pott's choice of entrance music: I Luv It. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Lambert!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roger Pott!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lambert with a lazy takedown attempt
and Pott counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Pott steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lambert.
Pott throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Lambert scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Pott misses with a head kick.
Lambert drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lambert is stalling in the full guard.
Pott uses the cage to get back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pott misses with a head kick.
Lambert shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pott pinned against the cage. Pott gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lambert shoots in and gets a takedown into Pott's guard.
Pott wants to stand and escape but Lambert is having none of it.
Pott has control of Lambert's left arm, preventing Lambert from doing any damage.
Lambert tries to free his leg and advance position but Pott is retaining full guard.
Pott not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Pott wants to get back to his feet but Lambert is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Pott is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Lambert lands a couple of digs.
Pott controls Lambert momentarily but Lambert frees himself.
Pott utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Pott really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lambert. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pott is looking to stand up but Lambert isn't so interested in that idea.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pott can do anything to dispel that myth.
Lambert controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Pott is trying to keep Lambert in close.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Lambert fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Lambert. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lambert closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lambert has an Americana. Pott didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Lambert is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Lambert hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

A relieved looking Mike Lambert thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
