And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Ryan!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Lofmark looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ryan throws a leg kick which misses Lofmark's front leg but catches the back leg as Lofmark tries to avoid it.
Lofmark chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ryan can pounce on him.
Lofmark throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ryan sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jimmy Ryan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ryan throws a leg kick but Lofmark checks it.
Lofmark connects with a body shot.
A shot to the body from Ryan misses
enabling Lofmark to counter with a crisp jab.
Ryan cracks the inside of Lofmark's front leg.
Lofmark blocks a low kick nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ryan misses with a looping right.
Ryan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lofmark slips a jab from Ryan.
Lofmark throws a big shot that misses.

Lofmark looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Ryan lands a big head kick that sends Lofmark tumbling to the mat! Ryan takes a step backwards and waves Lofmark back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Jonas Lofmark has been cut.
Ryan misses with the body kick

and Lofmark counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ryan won't be happy with that.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lofmark creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lofmark cracks Ryan with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Ryan is still in real trouble! Can Lofmark finish him?
Lofmark scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Ryan is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Lofmark can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
