Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shit Face (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergey Nevzlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Face comes into the arena with Blue clear sky blaring out of the sound system. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
41 - 31 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Shit Face! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sergey Nevzlin! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A left and a right from Nevzlin both land. Nice combination. Nevzlin throws a leg kick which misses Face's front leg but catches the back leg as Face tries to avoid it. Face will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Nevzlin! But no joy. Nevzlin changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Nevzlin with a body punch. A glancing blow. Face takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Shit Face has been cut. Nevzlin swings for the body but Face moves out of range.
Face changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Nevzlin lands with a good body shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nevzlin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Face tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nevzlin swivels and escapes. Face keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Face's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Nevzlin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Face scrambles back to his feet. A punch combination from Nevzlin misses. Face changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Nevzlin cracks Face with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. A jab from Nevzlin finds it's way through Face's defenses. Nevzlin tries to clinch but Face moves out of range. A low kick from Nevzlin misses and Face counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Nevzlin! Face is putting a hurting on Nevzlin here, landing some big shots from side control. Nevzlin felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Face working away. Nevzlin is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Nevzlin dodges the ground and pound from Face. Nevzlin can't do much from the bottom here. Face is trying to get an arm triangle but Nevzlin is defending well. Face advances to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Face throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Nevzlin because Face loaded up on that one. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nevzlin is desperately trying to improve his position but Face has a good base and remains in mount. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Face with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Face is working for a guillotine from mount but Nevzlin frees his head quite easily.
Nevzlin wants to control but Face is having none of it. Nevzlin defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Face. Face is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Nevzlin to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Nevzlin shrugs it off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Face jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Nevzlin manages to avoid the submission attempt. Face tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Face wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nevzlin keeps working. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Nevzlin struggling a bit here. Nevzlin sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Nevzlin wants to control but Face is keeping busy.
Face is looking for a kimura but Nevzlin is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Face to get the leverage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Nevzlin wants to improve his position but Face is controlling well.
Face is working for a submission of some sort.
Nevzlin is refusing to be controlled, as Face sits in half guard. Nevzlin wants to control but Face is keeping busy.
Face is keen to just control but Nevzlin is a slippery customer. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sergey Nevzlin dominated that round. The cut man is working on Shit Face's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Face takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Face appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Face ducks under a wild hook from Nevzlin. Shit Face is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Face tries to land a leg kick but Nevzlin saw it coming and moves away.
Nevzlin throws a counter combo. Face takes a shot right to the bread basket. Face dives in and grabs Nevzlin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nevzlin pushes down on Face's head and hops out. Nevzlin throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Face counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Shit Face overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Face landing some decent shots from guard. Face trying to control but Nevzlin is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Face scoring with some ground and pound. Face trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Face wants to control from the top but Nevzlin keeps moving. Face looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Face trying to control but Nevzlin is working from the bottom. Nevzlin being controlled here, momentarily. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Nevzlin holds on and takes a little breather. Face preventing the sweep. Nevzlin working a defensive guard here.
Face passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Nevzlin takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Nevzlin is trying to improve his position. Face looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Face wants to control but Nevzlin is keeping him busy. Nevzlin gets back to half guard. Nevzlin is looking to control Face's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Nevzlin avoid being mounted? Face wants to pass to mount but Nevzlin is defending the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Face is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Nevzlin is just riding it out for now. Face eventually gives up the hold. Face is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Face seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Nevzlin is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Shit Face! Shit Face took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
