Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tapio Sammalkorpi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Suf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tapio Sammalkorpi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bob Suf! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sammalkorpi tries for a takedown but Suf circles away easily and Suf makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Suf stuffs the takedown attempt from Sammalkorpi. Sammalkorpi gets slowly back to his feet. Sammalkorpi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tapio Sammalkorpi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sammalkorpi fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Suf was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Sammalkorpi takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Suf with a nice cross. Sammalkorpi shoots and misses and Suf counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A telegraphed right hand from Sammalkorpi misses the target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sammalkorpi misses with a takedown attempt and Suf counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Suf lands a slapping body shot.
Sammalkorpi is breathing heavily. Suf fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sammalkorpi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Sammalkorpi has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Suf throws a leg kick which misses Sammalkorpi's front leg but catches the back leg as Sammalkorpi tries to avoid it. Suf cracks the inside of Sammalkorpi's front leg. Suf bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sammalkorpi's head backwards. Tapio Sammalkorpi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sammalkorpi misses with a takedown attempt and Suf counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Suf drops Sammalkorpi with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sammalkorpi looks back up at him and smiles so Suf waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Sammalkorpi is rocked! That kick from Suf tenderised Sammalkorpi's leg. Sammalkorpi is trying to keep his angry face on. Oh Sammalkorpi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Suf lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Sammalkorpi seems to have got his legs back now. Suf lands the left hand. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Suf pounces like a tiger and cracks Sammalkorpi with a vicious hook! Sammalkorpi is down but not out! Suf follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
