Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Helmuth Tuminen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Arderos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Helmuth Tuminen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ricky Arderos! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tuminen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Arderos feints the counter takedown. Tuminen throws a head kick but Arderos moves out of range.
That kick from Tuminen tenderised Arderos's leg. Arderos is trying to keep his angry face on. Tuminen scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Ricky Arderos has been cut. Arderos tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tuminen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Arderos somewhat. Tuminen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Tuminen lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Tuminen connects with a high kick. A solid leg kick lands there for Tuminen.
Tuminen throws a lazy head kick and Arderos counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Tuminen makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Arderos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Tuminen is looking to stand up but Arderos isn't so interested in that idea. Arderos really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tuminen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arderos working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Arderos is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Arderos's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Tuminen wants to stand up but Arderos is controlling him. Arderos is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Tuminen avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Arderos must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Arderos wants to control from the top but Tuminen keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Tuminen lands with a slapping head kick. Tuminen throws a sloppy head kick and Arderos moves out of range easily. Tuminen throws a series of punches but Arderos moves out of range. Arderos blocks a head kick by Tuminen.
Arderos throws out a counter right but Tuminen avoids it with no problem. A head kick misses from Tuminen. Tuminen lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Tuminen lands with a nice combination. Arderos backs away looking to recover. Tuminen tries to sprawl but Arderos drives through with a takedown into half guard. Arderos sitting and controlling from the half guard. Tuminen looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Arderos throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Tuminen is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tuminen avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Arderos. Arderos stops Tuminen from getting back to his feet.
Arderos controlling the action here. Arderos is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Arderos looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Tuminen is looking for a sweep. Arderos is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Arderos decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Tuminen turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Tuminen lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. A head kick from Tuminen lands but Arderos takes it in his stride. Tuminen cracks the inside of Arderos's front leg. Tuminen thumps Arderos with a low kick. Tuminen dips to his left and cracks Arderos with an uppercut! Helmuth Tuminen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Arderos blocks a head kick by Tuminen.
Tuminen gets caught napping as Arderos dives in and scores a takedown. Tuminen manages to retain guard. Tuminen pushes Arderos off for just long enough to get back to his feet. That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Tuminen is not content to let Arderos control the position. Arderos is looking for a kimura here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Tuminen. No joy for Arderos on that attempt. Tuminen feints and then cracks Arderos's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Arderos down. Tuminen throws a head kick that half lands.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tuminen dips to his left and cracks Arderos with an uppercut! Tuminen misses with a jab, cross combination.
Arderos shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Arderos showed some decent athleticism there. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Arderos is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Arderos is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Arderos won't allow Tuminen to get back to his feet. Arderos trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Arderos showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Arderos thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Tuminen is trying to break free. Tuminen is looking to break free of the clinch but Arderos has double underhooks. Arderos prevents Tuminen from breaking the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arderos tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Tuminen smiles and moves away.

Arderos steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Tuminen. Tuminen ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Tuminen lands a high kick!
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Tuminen lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Arderos tries for a takedown but Tuminen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Tuminen went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Helmuth Tuminen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricky Arderos. Tuminen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Arderos wants to counter the offense by Tuminen and move into the clinch position. Arderos's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Arderos fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Tuminen to the ground. Arderos is now in Tuminen's guard. Arderos missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Arderos's corner is telling him to maintain position. Arderos thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Arderos stays in close to Tuminen's body and controls the position.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tuminen throws a head kick but Arderos moves out of range.

It's a sloppy attempt though and Arderos jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tuminen has momentary wrist control but Arderos slips an elbow through the middle. Arderos is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Tuminen wants to stand up but Arderos is controlling him. Arderos wants to control from the top but Tuminen keeps moving. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Arderos working some strikes from top position. And that's the end of the fight! Helmuth Tuminen showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tuminen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
