Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between TJ Mcgregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimble Cho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, TJ Mcgregor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 43 - 31 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Kimble Cho!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cho.

Mcgregor darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Mcgregor wants to take a breather but Cho is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mcgregor wants to stand up but Cho has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Mcgregor is trying to control. Cho wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Cho scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Mcgregor manages to mount him!
Mcgregor wants to control but Cho has made it back to half guard. Nice work.
Mcgregor throws a strike but Cho avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Mcgregor prevents Cho from getting back to his feet.
Mcgregor wants to control from the top but Cho keeps moving.

Mcgregor is really struggling to control Cho but he's trying to hold on to the position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cho wriggles free and stands up.
Mcgregor throws a head kick that misses.
Cho shoots in for a takedown but Mcgregor shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Mcgregor really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Mcgregor trying to keep a closed guard but Cho is proving a slippery customer.

Mcgregor wants to improve his position but instead Cho has moved into half guard.
Mcgregor is trying to control but Cho passes into side control!
Mcgregor manages to get back to half guard.
Mcgregor is trying to control but can't.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Mcgregor wants to get back to full guard.

Cho decides to return to a standing position.
Cho closes the distance and clinches up with Mcgregor, looking for a takedown. Cho pushes Mcgregor against the cage but Mcgregor circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
TJ Mcgregor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kimble Cho.
Mcgregor stuffs the takedown attempt from Cho. Cho gets slowly back to his feet.
Cho throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mcgregor's waist but Mcgregor gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cho off to one side.

Cho manages to escape and get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Kimble Cho will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Cho avoids the head kick by Mcgregor.
And Cho tries to counter it with a takedown but Mcgregor pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Cho shoots in for a takedown but Mcgregor shows good takedown defense.

Mcgregor feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Mcgregor slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Mcgregor would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Cho shoots for a double leg takedown but Mcgregor sprawls well. He's pushed Cho's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mcgregor attempts a counter takedown but Cho avoids it well and moves away.

Cho throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mcgregor was covering up waiting for the punch and Cho finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Cho is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mcgregor sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Cho shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mcgregor sprawls well. Mcgregor wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cho gets slowly back to his feet.
Kimble Cho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cho is breathing heavily.
Mcgregor throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Cho pulls Mcgregor in close to prevent any damage.
Mcgregor tries to free his leg and advance position but Cho is retaining full guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mcgregor is working hard here to advance position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Mcgregor shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Mcgregor was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Mcgregor laying and praying for a moment but Cho takes advantage and regains half guard.
Mcgregor is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mcgregor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cho swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mcgregor throws a head kick but Cho moves out of range.

Mcgregor shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Mcgregor was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Mcgregor is trying to move to mount but Cho reverses beautifully and ends up in Mcgregor's guard.

Cho stands and steps away. Mcgregor gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Mcgregor wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Cho manages to pass to side control.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Mcgregor wants to control but Cho is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Mcgregor moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Mcgregor is working an open guard so Cho takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Cho shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mcgregor manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cho looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Cho fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Mcgregor closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mcgregor lands in his opponent's guard.

Cho has his feet on Mcgregor's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kimble Cho comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Cho has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
