Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Grady Froelich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paul Ines!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Alyssa Summers and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Froelich tries to clinch there but Ines circles away.

Froelich moves into range and clinches up with Ines.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Froelich as Ines tries to tie him up.
A nice right hand lands inside from Ines.
Ines lands a hook to the side of the head.
Ines on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Ines stalling in the clinch but Froelich improves position.
A head punch on the inside from Ines fails to land.
Ines misses with the head strike.
Ines effectively controlling the action here.
Froelich tries to land a knee to the head but Ines blocks with his arms.
Ines looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Froelich being controlled against the ropes.

Froelich pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Paul Ines is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Froelich clinches up against the ropes.
Ines is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Froelich is keeping busy.

Froelich breaks from the clinch.
Ines misses with a straight right.
Froelich tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Ines manages to circle out of the way.
Froelich on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Ines. Ines obviously looking to wear him down.
Ines looks to score with a jab to the body but Froelich is just out of range.
Froelich checks the leg kick nicely there.
Froelich throws a big counter combination but Ines scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Froelich swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ines listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Ines throws a right hand that Froelich ducks under and follows up with a left that Froelich also avoids with ease.
Froelich tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ines swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ines catches Froelich with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Froelich closes the distance and pushes Ines back into the ropes.

Froelich escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Froelich moves out of range as Ines strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Froelich instigates a clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ines lands a shot to the body.

Ines breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ines swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Froelich takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Froelich moves away from the strike by Ines.
As Ines looks to move away, Froelich throws a big counter combo but Ines just gets out of the way.
Ines misses with an uppercut.
Ines will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ines misses with a few strikes there.
Froelich uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ines.

Froelich gets a clinch.
Froelich pushes Ines back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Froelich manages to break the clinch.
Ines will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Paul Ines dominated that round.
That's time! Froelich's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Ines throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ines blocks the body kick.
Ines swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Ines swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Some wild striking there from Ines.
Froelich tries to counter by clinching up but Ines breaks away and moves out of range.
Froelich keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ines.
Froelich steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ines.
Grady Froelich is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Froelich moves in looking to clinch but Ines pushes him off.
Nice cross by Ines.
Ines waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Froelich.
Ines jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ines keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Froelich.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A chopping leg kick lands by Ines.
Froelich staying out of range there.
Froelich throws a right and a left that both miss.
Froelich moves away from the strike by Ines.
Froelich uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ines.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Froelich moves into range and clinches up with Ines.
Ines misses with the head strike.
Ines scores with a shot to the side of Froelich's head.

Froelich breaks the clinch.
Ines avoids a kick to the body.
Ines is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Ines lands a glancing blow to the side of Froelich's head.
Froelich slips under a jab.
Ines moves out of range of the body kick.
Ines uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Ines lands with a right, followed by a left to the temple and Froelich goes down! The ref sends Ines to a neutral corner so he can begin the count. 3,4,5,6 and Froelich is back to his feet. He seems a little groggy but the referee thinks he's OK to continue, so we're back to the action!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ines lands a nice shot to the body.
Froelich walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Paul Ines!
