12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jos Beton! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sweeney McIntyre! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beton shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. McIntyre is staying active underneath Beton, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Beton is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and McIntyre defends it well. McIntyre is looking to control Beton's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can McIntyre avoid being mounted? McIntyre might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Beton haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. McIntyre really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Beton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Beton is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Nice work there by McIntyre and Beton has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Beton is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Beton hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
