Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Bullock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yves De Fienn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kevin Bullock! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Yves De Fienn! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Fienn fails with a takedown attempt. Bullock stuffs the takedown. It looked like Bullock was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. De Fienn shoots in and bounces Bullock off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. De Fienn is standing up over Bullock. Bullock looks to escape but De Fienn dives into side control.
Bullock really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Bullock tries to buck De Fienn off but De Fienn is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. You can see the frustration on Bullock's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. De Fienn gets to mount! Bullock was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bullock is trying desperately to improve position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bullock slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. De Fienn works his way into full mount! De Fienn tries to control but Bullock wriggling away. Bullock tries to get back to half guard but can't. De Fienn lands a couple of good shots and Bullock has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Bullock fending off the submission attempt from De Fienn. De Fienn is hanging on to Bullock's back as he tries to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. De Fienn has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Bullock. Can Bullock hold on?! De Fienn is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Bullock is trying to get back to his feet but De Fienn has full control of the position and if anything, Bullock has just worked his way into a worse spot. Bullock is really stuck here.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. De Fienn is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. De Fienn tries to land a sweep but no joy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. De Fienn preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Bullock missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. De Fienn is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Bullock in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. De Fienn wants to stand but Bullock is controlling the position. De Fienn avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. De Fienn manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bullock manages to get himself to full guard.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bullock's guard. De Fienn seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bullock does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Bullock is looking to control De Fienn's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bullock avoid being mounted? The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bullock slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Bullock looking to control but De Fienn passes into half guard.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from De Fienn. Bullock tries to sprawl but De Fienn drives through with a takedown into half guard. Bullock kicks off De Fienn and gets to his feet. De Fienn gets a clinch. Bullock stalls. De Fienn lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Bullock tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

That's one minute gone in the round. De Fienn shoots for a takedown but Bullock saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Bullock seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Nice sprawl there from Bullock as De Fienn shoots in. Kevin Bullock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yves De Fienn. De Fienn instigates a clinch. Bullock taking a breather. Bullock gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from De Fienn.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bullock slowing the pace effectively. De Fienn throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
De Fienn tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bullock smiles and moves away.
De Fienn tries for a takedown but Bullock circles away easily and Bullock holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. De Fienn is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Bullock breaks from the clinch.
De Fienn shoots in but Bullock avoids the takedown attempt easily. De Fienn shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bullock as he avoids it easily. De Fienn gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bullock to score an easy takedown into full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bullock sitting in guard here, content to control. Bullock is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Bullock has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Bullock postures up and lands a big shot to De Fienn's brow. Bullock landing with the ground and pound. Bullock postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bullock landing with the ground and pound. Bullock content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Bullock scoring with some ground and pound. De Fienn is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Kevin Bullock dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
De Fienn shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bullock counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. The fight moves into the clinch position. Bullock trying to control the position but instead, De Fienn has worked for underhooks and has pushed Bullock into the cage. De Fienn tries to land knees in the clinch but Bullock avoids the damage to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bullock stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Bullock wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but De Fienn has him pressed against the cage. De Fienn wants to break the clinch but can't.
Bullock creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. De Fienn makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. A nice glancing elbow lands by De Fienn. De Fienn letting Bullock take a breather here. Bullock tries to throw a body punch but De Fienn avoids it by throwing Bullock back against the cage. Bullock stalling against the cage.

De Fienn manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Bullock on his heels. He'll look to pass Bullock's guard now, I'm sure. De Fienn throwing strikes from guard but Bullock blocks nicely. Bullock keeping moving, preventing De Fienn from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. De Fienn prevents Bullock from getting back to his feet. Bullock is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and De Fienn dives into side control.
De Fienn works to advance to full mount. Bullock defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. De Fienn looking to control but Bullock is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Yves De Fienn has got the better of the ground game so far. Bullock looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Bullock tries to break free.
De Fienn tries to keep control of the position but Bullock is staying busy. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
De Fienn is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Bullock defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. De Fienn takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's three minutes gone in the round. De Fienn wants to control but Bullock is keeping busy. Bullock rolls, trying to escape but De Fienn keeps control of the position.
De Fienn trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Bullock doesn't escape. De Fienn doesn't have the hooks in and Bullock manages to turn into his guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. De Fienn is not content to let Bullock control the position. De Fienn wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A lull in the action here.
And that's the end of the fight! Yves De Fienn comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think De Fienn has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
