PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ansatsuken Judan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Hermann Hoppe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoppe has chosen Wind of Change as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Ansatsuken Judan is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ansatsuken Judan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hans Hermann Hoppe!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoppe looks for a takedown but Judan sprawls well.
Judan attempts a counter takedown but Hoppe avoids it well and moves away.
Hoppe misses with a takedown attempt

and Judan counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Hoppe is concentrating on defense, preventing Judan from advancing position.
Hoppe moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Hoppe lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Hoppe tries to free his leg and advance position but Judan is retaining full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hoppe controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Judan on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Judan tries to get out of the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hoppe accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hoppe has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Hoppe postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

We've been hearing good reports from Judan's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Judan wants to sweep but no luck.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Hoppe shoots in for a double leg but Judan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ansatsuken Judan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hans Hermann Hoppe.

and Judan counters with a shoot takedown. Hoppe fights it but they end up in guard.

Hoppe working for a triangle but Judan defends it easily.

Hoppe is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Hoppe is trying to hold Judan in close to prevent damage but Judan has managed to pass into half guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Hoppe is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The fighters are battling for position here. Hoppe manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Judan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hoppe has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Judan has managed to get both his arms back between Hoppe's legs - danger averted.
Hoppe wants to sweep but no luck.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Judan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hoppe swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hoppe escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Judan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Judan decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hoppe's guard.

Hoppe is looking for a triangle but Judan pushes his legs off easily.
Hoppe controls Judan momentarily but Judan frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hoppe is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Judan's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Judan's back!

Hoppe lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Hoppe is throwing strikes but Judan counters by rolling into a better position. After a scramble, Judan regains half guard.

Hoppe wants to control but Judan is keeping him busy.

Judan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hoppe on the ground.

Hoppe wants to control from the top but Judan keeps moving.

A close second round but Hans Hermann Hoppe will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's time! Judan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Hoppe closes the distance and clinches up with Judan, looking for a takedown. Hoppe pushes Judan against the cage but Judan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Judan counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hoppe won't be happy with that.

Judan is taking a breather. Hoppe says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Judan is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hoppe can do to turn this around?

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hoppe passes Judan's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Hoppe drops an elbow to the side of Judan's head.

Hoppe working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

I would just about give that final round to Hans Hermann Hoppe.
