Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Katy Brock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, DJ Buckeye!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Brock there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Brock rushes Buckeye and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Brock lands a body punch in the clinch.
Buckeye can't get the takedown.
Brock breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A head kick by Brock misses
and Buckeye counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Buckeye throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Buckeye landing with the ground and pound.
Buckeye pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Brock is keeping the position for now.
Buckeye avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Buckeye throwing strikes but missing.
Buckeye sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Brock's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Buckeye working over Brock with some ground and pound. Brock looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Nice strikes from Buckeye there.
Brock trying to control here.
Buckeye is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Brock sees it coming and defends easily.
Buckeye passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Brock!
Buckeye has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
A nice elbow there by Buckeye.
Brock is trying to stand.
Buckeye lands a big shot there that rocks Brock but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Brock wants to try and get back to his feet.
Brock is trying to reverse the position but instead Buckeye has taken his back - oops!
Brock is trapped and Buckeye is scoring with shots to the head and body.
Brock is trying to remain composed but Buckeye is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.
Buckeye working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Brock is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Buckeye has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Brock taps out!
