Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Spider Rico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Cajellon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spider Rico could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jose Cajellon's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rico gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Cajellon tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Rico gets control of Cajellon's arms and successfully pulls guard. Rico will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Rico had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Cajellon defends it easily.

Rico has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cajellon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Rico throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Cajellon escapes and throws Rico's legs to the side, diving into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rico is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Cajellon's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Rico has a hand on Cajellon's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Cajellon takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
