Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Kill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Artic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Kill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Danny Artic!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Damien Edna and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Artic tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kill fails in his attempt to clinch.
Artic keeps the fight on the outside.
Artic fails with a takedown attempt.
Artic drives through with a takedown into guard.
Artic preventing the sweep.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kill is on top in guard.
Kill with a flurry of punches that miss.
Artic working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kill doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kill manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Kill slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Kill wants to control from the top but Artic keeps moving.
Kill decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Artic, up you get!
Kill scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Artic is trying to control Kill's posture but Kill avoids it.
Kill decides to stand up, so the ref orders Artic to his feet.
Artic tries a head kick but it misses.

Kill gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Artic is working for takedown but Kill is calmly controlling the position for now.
Kill has Artic pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kill pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Artic tumbling to the mat - Kill dives into Artic's guard.
Artic not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Artic has his foot on Kill's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kill works his way back into a safe position though.
Artic looks gassed!
Kill stands and throws Artic's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Kill controlling the position from side mount.

Kill wants to lay and pray for a moment but Artic keeps working.
Artic can't do much from the bottom here.
Kill wants to take a breather but Artic manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Kill.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kill avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kill stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Artic swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Artic trying to keep a closed guard but Kill is proving a slippery customer.
Kill stands up and waves to Artic to follow him.
Artic misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kill feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Artic's calf.
Jason Kill is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kill shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Kill takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Artic wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Kill.
Kill trying to control but Artic is having none of it.
Artic is breathing heavily.
Kill thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Kill controlling the position easily from mount.
Artic is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Artic tries to hold on but Kill postures up.
Kill has hold of Artic's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Artic manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kill is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Artic can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Kill can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Artic is looking to escape.

Artic is in all sorts of trouble here.
Kill is trying to control here but Artic has managed to regain half guard.
Kill is keen to just control but Artic is a slippery customer.

Artic is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Kill pulls his head out easily.
Artic is looking to control Kill's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Artic avoid being mounted?
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kill moves into range and clinches up with Artic.
Kill lands a body punch in the clinch.
Kill keeps control of Artic as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Artic wants to break the clinch but can't.
Kill lands an elbow inside that Artic shrugs off.
Kill manages to break the clinch.
Artic tries for a takedown but Kill circles away easily
and Kill counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kill.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Kill dominated that second round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Kill shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kill was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Artic's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Artic wants to hold on but Kill pushes him away.
Kill landing strikes from the mount and Artic is in trouble!
Kill wants to control the pace but Artic is squirming around nicely.
Kill avoids the attempt from Artic to control.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Kill jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Artic manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Jason Kill overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Kill working away.
Kill is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Artic has escaped the position, nice work there.
Kill trying to control the action but Artic is working from the bottom.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Artic sneaks back into half guard.
Artic pushes Kill off looking to stand but Kill dives back in and keeps control.
Artic is in trouble now - Kill has advanced to mount!
Artic bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Kill wants to control the position but Artic says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Artic wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kill keeps working.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Kill is not content to let Artic control the position.
Artic trying to mount his opponent but Kill defends it.
Kill is doing well to control the position and prevent Artic from advancing to side control.

Artic is looking to stall here but Kill recovers full guard.

Jason Kill showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Kill has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
