The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Cano. Cano obviously looking to wear him down.
Cano tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Liddell swivels and escapes.
Liddell wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Liddell scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Randy Cano has been cut.
Liddell tests Cano's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Liddell misses with a double jab
and Cano counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Our sources have told us that Liddell has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
Liddell throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Cano blocks it with crossed arms.
Liddell jumps guard and drags Cano to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Cano trying to control the position from guard on top but Liddell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cano is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Liddell is staying active underneath Cano, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
