The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Milner throws a lazy right hand but McCarthy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
McCarthy tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

McCarthy closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Milner is not content to let McCarthy control the position.
McCarthy has knee on belly and moves into mount.
McCarthy throwing strikes here but Milner is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Milner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McCarthy on the ground.
McCarthy avoids the attempt from Milner to control.

McCarthy swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

David McCarthy opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
