Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Teemu Packalen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Grove (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Teemu Packalen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, David Grove!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Packalen misses with a left hand
and Grove counters with a nice double leg into side control. Packalen won't be happy with that.
Grove decides to stand up, so the ref orders Packalen to his feet.
Packalen throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Grove tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Packalen is in Grove's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Packalen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Grove swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Grove holds on and takes a little breather.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Packalen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
