The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Conor shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Oluwatobi pinned against the cage. Oluwatobi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
O Conor shoots for a takedown but Oluwatobi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Oluwatobi stuffs the takedown attempt from O Conor . O Conor gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan O Conor . That's going to take a lot out of him.
O Conor looks for a takedown but Oluwatobi sprawls well.
A little jabbing left from Oluwatobi on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
O Conor closes the distance and clinches up with Oluwatobi, looking for a takedown. O Conor pushes Oluwatobi against the cage but Oluwatobi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
O Conor is trying hard to land a takedown here. Oluwatobi sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
O Conor goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Oluwatobi rolls with the submission and now he's on top in O Conor 's guard! Nice work there by Oluwatobi!
Oluwatobi is pushing down on O Conor 's leg trying to pass to half guard. O Conor is fighting to maintain full guard but Oluwatobi has managed to sneak the leg through.

Oluwatobi is trying to work for a kimura but O Conor is defending well.
O Conor is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
O Conor moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
O Conor is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Oluwatobi has his hands clasped together but O Conor extends and breaks Oluwatobi's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by O Conor .

In his post fight interview, Ryan O Conor started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
