Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary Glitter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drunken Hare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drunken Hare has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Drunken Hare!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Richard Clark and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hare closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hare lands in his opponent's guard.
Hare is looking to stand up but Glitter won't let him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hare distracts Glitter with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Hare stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Glitter swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hare gets to his feet. Glitter looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Hare throws the kick towards the body but Glitter avoids it.
Glitter tries to clinch but Hare is having none of it.
Hare throws a series of punches but Glitter avoids them all with ease.
Glitter is looking to clinch.
Hare tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Glitter paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hare shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hare clinches but Glitter breaks the clinch

and Glitter counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Glitter scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Hare has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hare is defending against the submission attempts here by Glitter.

Glitter working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Glitter counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Hare jumps guard but Glitter stands there with Hare around his waist. Hare gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Glitter avoids a wild elbow strike from Hare.
Hare drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Gary Glitter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Drunken Hare.

Glitter breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Glitter closes the distance and clinches.
Glitter has Hare pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hare manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Glitter blocks an elbow strike from Hare.
Glitter lands a nice knee to the body.

Hare fails to pull guard.

Hare has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Glitter avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Hare misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Glitter.
Glitter unloads a knee to the mid-section. Hare lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Hare tries to pull guard but Glitter holds him up against the cage and eventually Hare drops back down to his feet.

and Glitter decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hare's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Glitter is sitting in close to Hare's body. Hare has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Glitter is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Glitter is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Hare.
