Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cyril Westlake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ukko Metso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ukko Metso was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Westlake lands a head shot. Westlake has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Rusterman's in the buildup to the fight. Metso goes for a double leg but Westlake avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Westlake continues to drive forward. Metso shoots for a takedown but Westlake saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Westlake changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Metso shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Westlake but Westlake pushes him off and we're back to square one. Westlake was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Cyril Westlake has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ukko Metso. Metso looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Metso is just content to waste time from the top position. Westlake takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Metso is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Westlake on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Westlake tries to get out of the position. Westlake preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Metso throwing strikes from guard but Westlake blocks nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Westlake has momentary wrist control but Metso slips an elbow through the middle. Metso slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Westlake keeping moving, preventing Metso from controlling successfully. Metso stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Westlake swivels though and keeps the full guard. Metso scoring with punches to the head and body. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Metso throwing strikes from guard but Westlake blocks nicely. Metso wants to control from the top but Westlake keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Metso might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Westlake haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Metso engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Westlake preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Metso shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Westlake counters with a nice uppercut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Metso takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Metso shoots in looking for a takedown. Westlake tries to sprawl out of it but Metso keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Westlake manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Westlake keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Metso with a poor takedown and Westlake connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Metso misses with a takedown attempt and Westlake counters with a nice uppercut. Westlake keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Metso scores with a takedown into Westlake's guard. Westlake avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Metso has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Metso scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Metso postures up in Westlake's guard and throws a big left but Westlake blocks it. Metso pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Westlake is keeping the position for now. This has been an exciting period of action! Metso throws an elbow that misses. Westlake uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Metso's guard. Nice move by Westlake!
Metso is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Westlake defends well. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Metso looking for a sweep. Not yet Metso, not yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cyril Westlake dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Metso fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Metso misses with a takedown and Westlake counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Metso fails with the takedown and Westlake cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Cyril Westlake has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ukko Metso. Metso shoots and misses and Westlake counters with a straight right hand. Westlake getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Metso shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Westlake counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Metso with a poor takedown and Metso takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Nice takedown defense from Westlake. No joy for Metso on that attempt. Westlake cracks Metso with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Metso looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Westlake finish him?
Metso is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Westlake loads up on a big right hand but Metso slips the punch. Metso is still on wobbly legs! Can Westlake finish him? No luck for Metso with that takedown attempt. Metso seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horrible takedown attempt by Metso or perhaps it was just good defense by Westlake, which made it look bad. A counter left hand to the body from Westlake misses its target. Westlake dips to his left and cracks Metso with an uppercut! Metso darts in looking for a takedown but Westlake gets double underhooks and turns Metso into the cage. A little feinted left hand from Westlake on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Westlake is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Westlake defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Metso. Westlake appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Westlake jabs at Metso's body. Nice sprawl there from Westlake as Metso shoots in. Metso with a lazy takedown attempt and Westlake counters with a nice uppercut. Metso is breathing heavily. Metso shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Westlake counters with a lovely straight right hand! Metso misses with a takedown attempt and Westlake counters with a huge left! Metso is in big trouble! He's backing up but Westlake isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Metso from any more damage. A dominating finish by Westlake!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cyril Westlake! During a confident post fight interview, Cyril Westlake thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
