The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaitsev misses with a right hand
and Bishop connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bishop throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Bishop takes one to the side of the head.
It looks like Keith Bishop has been cut.
Zaitsev misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Bishop cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bishop just misses with a punch to the body.
Bishop takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Bishop counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bishop throws out a loose jab but Zaitsev uses good head movement to avoid it.

Bishop throws out a counter right but Zaitsev avoids it with no problem.

We've been hearing reports that Zaitsev has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

A little jabbing left from Bishop on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

The fighters circling - Zaitsev throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Zaitsev and Bishop goes tumbling to the canvas! Zaitsev follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Zaitsev perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Zaitsev throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Bishop because Zaitsev loaded up on that one.
Zaitsev wants to control the pace but Bishop is squirming around nicely.

Keith Bishop's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
