Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vade Steamboat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nitz Walsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steamboat comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman. Nitz Walsh has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vade Steamboat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nitz Walsh! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walsh shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Steamboat looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Walsh fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Walsh trying to control but he's not successful this time. Walsh takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Walsh is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Steamboat can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Walsh controlling the position easily from mount. Walsh prevents Steamboat from getting the reversal. Steamboat taking shots to the head.
Walsh is going olschool here, as he tries to force Steamboat to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Steamboat shrugs it off.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Walsh can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Steamboat is looking to escape.
Walsh working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Walsh putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Steamboat is trying to escape the mount.
Walsh looking to control and managing it successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Walsh in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The referee warns Steamboat that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Walsh with shots to the head and body - Steamboat looks very uncomfortable down there. Walsh putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Walsh lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Steamboat hang on? Steamboat is squirming around, avoiding Walsh's attempts to control the action.

Walsh lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Walsh lands with some strikes. Walsh tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Walsh scoring with strikes but Steamboat is staying in there. Steamboat sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Walsh is trying to control the action in half guard but Steamboat is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Walsh trying to pass the guard but Steamboat defending well. Steamboat gets full guard.
Steamboat has his foot on Walsh's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Walsh works his way back into a safe position though.

Steamboat working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Walsh doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Walsh manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Walsh has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Steamboat is proving hard to escape from.
Walsh stands up from guard. Let's bang! Walsh takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Vade Steamboat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Steamboat is looking to clinch.
Walsh changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Steamboat looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Steamboat manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Walsh wants to stand but Steamboat has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Walsh lands strikes from half guard. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Nitz Walsh dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Walsh lands a nice leg kick that just misses Steamboat's sensitive parts. Walsh tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Steamboat paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Walsh fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Steamboat sprawls well initially but Walsh persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Steamboat is not content to let Walsh control the position. Ground and pound from Walsh.
Walsh wants to work for an arm triangle but Steamboat is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Steamboat actively working from the bottom here. Steamboat is refusing to be controlled, as Walsh sits in half guard.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Steamboat is staying active underneath Walsh, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
 Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Steamboat circles away from the clinch attempt.
Walsh dodges the punch combination from Steamboat.
Walsh tries to close the distance and clinch but Steamboat swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Steamboat throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Walsh. Walsh tries to clinch up but Steamboat circles away and keeps his distance.
Walsh shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Walsh was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Steamboat is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Walsh trying to control but he's not successful this time. Steamboat sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Walsh has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Steamboat misses with a series of wild punches.
Steamboat takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Walsh scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Steamboat is staying active underneath Walsh, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Steamboat wants to get back to full guard. Steamboat moves into full guard.
Steamboat throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Walsh escapes and throws Steamboat's legs to the side, diving into side control! Steamboat is looking to regain half guard here but Walsh keeps moving and retains side control.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Steamboat tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Walsh presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Walsh controlling from mount. Steamboat gets back to half guard. Walsh tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Steamboat.
Steamboat is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Walsh is tapping! Great win for Steamboat!
