The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mutulikina fails with a takedown attempt.
Carsara scores with a hook to the body. Mutulikina takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Carsara stuffs the takedown attempt from Mutulikina. Mutulikina gets slowly back to his feet.
Nice takedown defense from Carsara. No joy for Mutulikina on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pierre Mutulikina. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Carsara bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mutulikina's head.
Carsara misses with a body shot
and Mutulikina counters with a head kick.
Mutulikina shoots in looking for a takedown but Carsara manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mutulikina's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Nice straight punches there by Carsara. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Carsara.

Mutulikina is breathing heavily.
Carsara cracks a nice hook into Mutulikina's ribs.
Carsara fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mutulikina manages to avoid it.
Carsara scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Mutulikina looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Carsara cracks Mutulikina with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Carsara has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Mutulikina to stand back up!
Mutulikina is rocked!
Carsara darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Mutulikina's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Carsara before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
