Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shape Shifter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zoey Malone Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Zoey Malone Jr was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Shape Shifter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zoey Malone Jr!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shifter tries to clinch but Malone Jr is having none of it.
Malone Jr swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Malone Jr throws a lazy body kick
and Shifter finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Malone Jr throws a body punch but Shifter moves out of range.
Malone Jr moves in looking to clinch but Shifter pushes him off.
Shifter is looking to clinch but Malone Jr is avoiding it.
Shifter moves out of range of the body kick from Malone Jr.
Malone Jr ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shifter moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shifter tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Malone Jr defends well and Shifter ends up having to push Malone Jr into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Malone Jr tries to keep at a distance but Shifter has taken the fight into the clinch.
Shifter is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shifter is looking for a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shape Shifter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A right hook to the body lands for Malone Jr.
Shifter tries to land a knee to the head but Malone Jr blocks with his arms.
Malone Jr tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Shifter throws a knee to the head but misses.
Shifter's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Shifter jumps guard and drags Malone Jr to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Malone Jr wants to control from the top but Shifter keeps moving.
Malone Jr must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Shifter working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Malone Jr doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Malone Jr manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Shifter is looking for a triangle but Malone Jr pushes his legs off easily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Malone Jr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Malone Jr tries to free his leg and advance position but Shifter is retaining full guard.
Shifter has his foot on Malone Jr's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Malone Jr works his way back into a safe position though.
Malone Jr trying to control the position from guard on top but Shifter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Malone Jr not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Shifter looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Malone Jr is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Shifter has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Malone Jr is looking to defend but Shifter has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Malone Jr! Shifter pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Malone Jr taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Shape Shifter!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Shape Shifter waved his t-shirt featuring Urban Fighter's logo in front of the cameras.
