Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Landon Pike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AC Slater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slater has chosen Stop What Ya Doin as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Daniel Cesar and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pike connects with the punch.
Pike looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Slater throws a shot from downtown. Pike moves away and avoids it.
Pike throws a looping overhand right but Slater ducks down to avoid it.
Pike misses with a looping right.
And Slater tries to counter it with a takedown but Pike pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Slater looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Pike is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Pike forces Slater back against the cage and clinches.
Slater has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Pike is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Pike manages to break the clinch.
Landon Pike seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slater throws a jab but it's blocked by Pike.
Slater just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromPike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slater goes for a double leg but Pike avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Pike continues to drive forward.
Pike was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Pike slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Pike looks to land a right hand but Slater moved out of range.
Despite the aggression on Slater's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Pike scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Slater moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Pike displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Pike throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Slater counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Landon Pike has been cut.
Pike throws a looping overhand right but Slater ducks down to avoid it.
Pike throws a shot to the body.
Pike lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Pike.
A right-left combo lands from Pike.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pike rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Slater moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pike throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pike showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Slater.

Pike lands a jab to the nose.
Slater uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pike.
Slater scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Slater trying to control the action but Pike is working from the bottom.
Pike is looking to regain half guard here but Slater keeps moving and retains side control.
Pike is trying to control Slater's posture but Slater avoids it.
Slater working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Slater in side control, throwing shots but Pike defends.
A lull in the action here as Slater stalls from top position.
Pike is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Pike looking for submissions off his back.
Slater throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Slater thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Pike's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pike is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Slater pulls his head out easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Pike has hold of Slater's hands but Slater slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Landon Pike's cut is getting worse.
Slater controlling the action here.
Slater missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Pike is trying to get back to full guard.
Slater seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pike does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Slater on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Pike tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Slater throws the left hand but Pike avoids the punch easily.
Pike seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Slater checks a low kick from Pike.
Slater fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Pike on the side of the head.
A big left from Slater misses.
Pike is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Slater avoids the body shot from Pike.
Slater drops Pike with a naaaaasty hook - Pike is in real trouble here! Slater dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). AC Slater!
AC Slater decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
