Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ronald Vargas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tae Bo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ronald Vargas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tae Bo! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Vladimir Khabensky and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bo lands in his opponent's guard. Bo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vargas swivels though and keeps the full guard. Vargas looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Vargas had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bo is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Vargas Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bo's back instead. Vargas is looking for a choke. Bo gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Bo manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard. Bo is looking to stand up but Vargas won't let him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vargas is trying to keep Bo in close.
Bo trying to control but Vargas is working from the bottom. Vargas is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Vargas manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Bo working to try and regain half guard.
Vargas working for a guillotine from mount but Bo is in no mood to give up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vargas is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Vargas is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Vargas!
