Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adrik Vasilev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Castor Rollins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Vasilev might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mr. Probz - Waves (Robin Schulz Remix Radio Edit). Castor Rollins has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rollins jabs at Vasilev's body. Rollins connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Vasilev's hands.
It looks like Adrik Vasilev has been cut. Vasilev scoring well with a low kick there.
Rollins does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Vasilev looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Rollins shapes to counter with a head kick. Adrik Vasilev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vasilev throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Vasilev slips a jab from Rollins. Vasilev throws a shot from downtown. Rollins moves away and avoids it. Rollins keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round. Vasilev throws a head kick that misses and Rollins counters with a head kick that drops Vasilev to the mat! Vasilev scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Vasilev is rocked! Vasilev takes a swing at Rollins's ribcage but misses. Oh Vasilev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Vasilev takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Vasilev has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Elite Strikers in the buildup to the fight. Rollins shoots in looking for a takedown. Vasilev tries to sprawl out of it but Rollins keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vasilev manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Vasilev seems to have got his legs back now. Vasilev walks into a jab. Vasilev misses with a body shot.
Rollins has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Rollins throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rollins has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rollins and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Vasilev throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Rollins throws a front kick aimed at Vasilev's knee but Vasilev avoids it well. Vasilev connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Vasilev appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Vasilev is looking to wear down Rollins with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Vasilev lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rollins at a distance.

Vasilev fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rollins. Vasilev is looking to slow Rollins down with leg kicks. Vasilev looks for the body kick but Rollins saw that one coming. Rollins counters with a body kick. Rollins throws a leg kick and Vasilev cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Vasilev chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rollins can pounce on him.
Donk. Vasilev catches Rollins right on the button with a cross. Vasilev digs a good hook to Rollins's body.

That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rollins fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Vasilev is out of range. Rollins gets tackled into the cage by Vasilev. Vasilev maintains the clinch. Rollins misses with a punch to the body.

Rollins tries to stall but Vasilev uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Vasilev lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Rollins backwards. Rollins breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That was a close round but I would say that Adrik Vasilev will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Adrik Vasilev's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rollins thows a leg kick but Vasilev checks it and Vasilev counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Rollins thinking.
