Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Robert Eins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Farinelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert Eins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Paulo Farinelli!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eins throws a nice head kick!
Eins works over Farinelli's head and body with a nice combination.
Eins cracks Farinelli with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Farinelli shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Farinelli is trying to work for a kimura but Eins is defending well.
Eins is doing well to control the position and prevent Farinelli from advancing to side control.
Eins is trying to maintain the position but Farinelli is very close to passing his half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Eins wants to improve his position but Farinelli is controlling well.

Eins wants to get back to his feet.
Eins knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Farinelli on the ground.
Eins tries to get to full guard but Farinelli has control of the leg.
Farinelli passes to full mount!
Farinelli trying to control but Eins is having none of it.
Farinelli is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Farinelli working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Eins tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Eins wants to control but Farinelli is having none of it.

Farinelli swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Eins is now in Farinelli's guard. A big mistake from Farinelli there, giving up the dominant position!
Eins not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Farinelli wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Eins is now in half guard.

Farinelli is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Farinelli trying to control from the bottom.
Farinelli is staying active underneath Eins, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
It looks like Eins is going to stand back up.
Farinelli wants to improve his position but Eins is controlling well.
Farinelli moves into full guard.
Eins stands up over Farinelli, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Eins's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Farinelli tries to clinch up but Eins circles away and keeps his distance.
Eins shoots and misses

and Farinelli counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Eins's guard now.
Eins utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Farinelli trying to control but Eins is working from the bottom.
Eins keeping full guard, as Farinelli tries to pass.

Eins manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Farinelli moves into the clinch successfully.

Eins breaks the clinch.
Eins tries to close the distance and clinch up but Farinelli swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Farinelli counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Farinelli.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Farinelli trying to control but Eins is working from the bottom.
Eins is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Eins can't keep his opponent in guard - Farinelli advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Farinelli wants to work for an arm triangle but Eins is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Farinelli is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Eins manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Eins cracks a nice hook into Farinelli's ribs.
The fighters circling - Eins throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Farinelli uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Eins.
Eins tries to clinch up but Farinelli circles away and keeps his distance.

Eins gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Farinelli trying to control but Eins is working from the bottom.
Eins keeping full guard, as Farinelli tries to pass.

Eins wants to stand up but Farinelli is controlling him.

Eins wants to sweep but no luck.
Eins avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Farinelli looking to pass the guard.
Farinelli throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Eins is looking to clinch.
Eins fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Farinelli checks it well.
Eins throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Paulo Farinelli showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Eins throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Farinelli counters with a left to the body.
Farinelli has his takedown stuffed
and Eins connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Eins fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Farinelli sprawls well initially but Eins persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Farinelli trying to get back to full guard but Eins takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

Eins sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
