Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryu Aokison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryu Aokison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bill Brown!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Aokison avoids it really well and circles away.
Aokison with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Aokison has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Brown is looking to clinch but Aokison is avoiding it.
Aokison stuns Brown with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Brown takes a jab right on the kisser.
Aokison connects with a good right hand that stumbles Brown. Brown circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Brown darts in looking for a takedown but Aokison gets double underhooks and turns Brown into the ropes.
Brown walks into a left hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brown is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Brown fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ryu Aokison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bill Brown.
Aokison lands a nice looking body shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Brown shoots in looking for a takedown. Aokison tries to sprawl out of it but Brown keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Aokison manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Brown shoots for a takedown but Aokison saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Aokison lands a nice leg kick that just misses Brown's sensitive parts.
Brown takes one to the chin there.
Brown will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Aokison catches Brown napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Brown to the canvas!
Brown is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Aokison slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Brown is still in real trouble! Can Aokison finish him?
Brown working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Aokison doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Aokison manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Brown is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Brown seems to have recovered his senses.
Aokison passes Brown's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Brown is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Brown trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!

Aokison prevents Brown from getting the reversal.
Aokison lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Brown is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Brown wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Brown can't escape the position.
Aokison is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Brown. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.
Aokison keeps control of the position as Brown tries to break free.
Brown covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Aokison is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Aokison has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Brown! Can he survive? No! He's out! Aokison gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Ryu Aokison!
An out of breath Ryu Aokison thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
