Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mat Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Sin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz comes to the cage accompanied by I Got Five On It. Sin is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Original Nuttah. Lee Sin has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mat Diaz's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mat Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Lee Sin! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Columbo Gatti and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sin is looking to chop away at Diaz's legs. Diaz appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Sin throws the left hand but Diaz avoids the punch easily. It looked like Diaz was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Sin. That kick from Sin tenderised Diaz's leg. Diaz is trying to keep his angry face on. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Sin misses with a leg kick. Diaz is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Sin throws a low kick but Diaz moves out of range easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Diaz misses the shot to the body. Sin thows a left - swing and a miss! Diaz is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Sin lands a glancing blow to the side of Diaz's head.

enabling Diaz to counter with a crisp jab. Nice cross by Diaz. Diaz ducks under a wild hook from Sin. A little feinted left hand from Diaz on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Diaz staying out of range there. Diaz takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz shoots and misses and Sin finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Diaz takes one to the chin there. We've been informed that Sin has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Sin misses with a combination
letting Diaz counter with a right hand. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sin feints and then cracks Diaz's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Diaz down. Sin jabs Diaz right on the nose. Diaz blinks but takes it well. Sin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sin throws a lazy right hand but Diaz sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Diaz attempts a counter takedown but Sin avoids it well and moves away. Sin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Diaz stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Sin throws a leg kick and Diaz counters with a lovely straight right hand! Sin lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Sin misses with a hook
and Diaz counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Sin just misses with a punch to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Diaz misses the shot to the body. Diaz closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Diaz blocks a jab. Diaz scores with a body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Diaz swings for the body but Sin moves out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Sin! But no joy. Sin scores with a nice right hand.
Sin misses with a lunging right hand
and Diaz counters with a stiff right hand. A slow jab from Sin misses its intended target. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Lee Sin will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Sin swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Diaz. Diaz jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Sin thows a left - swing and a miss! Sin cracks the inside of Diaz's front leg. Sin thows a leg kick but Diaz checks it and Diaz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Diaz takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Diaz throws a lazy uppercut
and Sin counters with a left to the body. Lee Sin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sin fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Diaz uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sin. Sin throws a jab when Diaz was well out of range. Sin staying out of range there. Sin has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Diaz takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Sin is looking to slow Diaz down with leg kicks. Sin cracks Diaz with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Diaz changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's two minutes gone in the round. What's Sin going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. Diaz trying to control the action but Sin is working from the bottom. Diaz goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Sin rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Diaz's guard! Nice work there by Sin! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Diaz looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Sin puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Diaz wants to sweep but Sin has passed to side control! Sin just content to control the position. Sin trying to control the position but Diaz is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Diaz manages to work his way to half guard, despite Sin's best efforts. Diaz is looking to improve his position.

Diaz is working hard here to advance position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Sin with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Diaz tries to roll over but Sin keeps him under control. Sin seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Diaz gets back to full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Diaz lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Diaz pushes down on Sin's leg and manages to get into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lee Sin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
A telegraphed right hand from Sin misses the target. Diaz is looking to counter punch. Sin takes a swing at Diaz's ribcage but misses. Sin misses with a left hand and Diaz counters with a stiff right hand. Sin connects with an inside leg kick. Sin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sin scores with a hook to the body. Diaz takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Diaz stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Sin thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Diaz if he has to take too many more of those.

Sin doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Sin walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Sin scores with a jab to the head.
Mat Diaz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Diaz looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Sin throws a right hand that Diaz ducks under and follows up with a left that Diaz also avoids with ease. Diaz swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Sin sizes up Diaz with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A jab from Sin misses. Sin swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Diaz. Sin is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Sin misses with a looping left. It looked like Diaz was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Sin.

Diaz scores with a decent looking hook. Sin misses with a looping right. Diaz throwing a counter right hand but Sin manages to avoid it. Sin throws a jab when Diaz was well out of range. Sin is looking to slow Diaz down with leg kicks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sin takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Lee Sin seems to be getting the better of the standup. Diaz connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Diaz swings and misses with a shot to the body and Sin counters with a stiff right hand. Sin throws a low kick but Diaz avoids it. Diaz slips under a jab. Diaz swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Sin tries a head kick but it misses.
Diaz was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. A slapping leg kick lands for Sin.
And that's the end of the fight! Lee Sin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Sin winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
