Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Xavior Reo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wilboogie Bur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilboogie Bur will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Xavior Reo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Wilboogie Bur!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bur uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Reo.
Bur is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Reo. Bur does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bur now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Reo misses with the body kick

and Bur counters with a takedown into side control.
Reo is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Bur stands up and beckons Reo to his feet.
Reo misses with a few strikes there.
Sloppy strikes from Reo. Those never looked like landing.
Reo misses with a few strikes there.
Reo throws a head kick that misses.
Reo looks to land a left hand but Bur moved out of range nicely.
Reo pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Reo shoots in for a takedown but Bur shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Bur keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Bur is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Bur has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Reo swings for the body but Bur moves out of range.

Reo takes a swing at Bur's ribcage but misses.
Bur moves out of range of the strikes.
Bur drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Reo defends it well.
Reo throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

so Bur counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Reo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bur gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Bur works over Reo with some ground and pound from guard.

Bur decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Reo tries to clinch there but Bur circles away.

Reo throws a nice looking combination but Bur bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bur is looking for the big counter here.
Bur checks a leg kick.
Reo swings away with a body shot that misses

and Bur counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Reo!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bur is looking to take a break and control but Reo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bur stands up.
A combination from Bur does no damage.
Reo scores with a shot to the body.
Bur keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Reo.

Reo throws a right and a left that both miss.

Reo tries to close the distance and clinch but Bur swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Reo is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Bur's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Bur avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bur ducks under a wild hook from Reo.
Reo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bur is looking for the big counter here.
Bur uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Reo.
Bur drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Reo defends it well.
Reo throws a series of punches but Bur avoids them all with ease.
Bur unleashes a big counter combination but Reo bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Reo has picked Bur up - he's going for a ride! Reo dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Bur has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Reo is on him like a limpet, forcing Bur back against the cage.
Reo is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bur escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Reo misses the body punch

and Bur counters with a shoot takedown. Reo fights it but they end up in guard.
Bur stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Reo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bur postures up and lands a big shot to Reo's brow.
Reo has momentary wrist control but Bur slips an elbow through the middle.

Bur stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Bur ducks right into an uppercut from Reo.
Reo throws a head kick that misses
and Bur counters with a two punch combo.
Bur throws a quick inside leg kick.
Reo throws a shot from downtown. Bur moves away and avoids it.
Bur avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bur slips a straight right by Reo.
A head kick by Reo misses

and Bur counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bur pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Reo is keeping the position for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wilboogie Bur dominated that round.

Bur throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Bur holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bur avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Bur drops back looking for a leg! Reo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Reo manages to kick Bur off! Bur jumps back into Reo's guard.
Reo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Bur not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Reo is working an open guard so Bur takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Despite the aggression on Bur's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Reo gets control of Bur's arms and successfully pulls guard. Reo will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Bur is working Reo over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Bur stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Reo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bur gets to his feet. Reo looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Bur throws a sloppy head kick and Reo moves out of range easily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Bur successfully pulls guard.

Bur had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Reo defends it easily.

Reo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bur is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Reo, into his guard.

Bur trying to control the position from guard on top but Reo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Reo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bur doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bur manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bur slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wilboogie Bur showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Good leg kick by Reo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Bur feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Reo pushes Bur off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Reo cracks Bur with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Bur is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Bur uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Reo.

Reo avoids the head kick by Bur.
Reo throws the left hand but Bur avoids the punch easily.
Bur takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Bur throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Bur has Reo up against the cage in a clinch.
Reo tries to pull guard but Bur forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Reo jumps guard but Bur stands there with Reo around his waist. Reo gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xavior Reo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bur thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Reo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bur can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Bur with a nice head shot there.
Bur passes into half guard.
Bur seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Bur keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Reo looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Bur has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Bur is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Reo is refusing to be controlled, as Bur sits in half guard.

Bur is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Reo defends it well.

Reo looking for a kimura from the bottom but Bur passes into side control!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Bur working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Reo is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
You can see the frustration on Reo's face as Bur controls the position.
Bur gets to mount! Reo was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Bur lands a big shot there that rocks Reo but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

And that's the end of the fight!
Wilboogie Bur comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Bur winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
