Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Wu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Holm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Charlie Wu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Martin Holm! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, David Hoff and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wu throws a right and a left that Holm avoids nicely. Wu connects with the punch. Wu throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Holm counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Wu lands with a straight right. Holm didn't see that one coming. Holm throws a lazy uppercut
and Wu counters with a lovely straight right hand! Holm ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Holm looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Wu looks to throw the jab but Holm is out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wu decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Holm has hold of Wu's hands but Wu slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Wu is trying to control the action in half guard but Holm is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Wu sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Holm defending well though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wu is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Holm pushes Wu off looking to stand but Wu dives back in and keeps control.
Wu throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Wu thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Wu is trying to control. Holm wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. We've been hearing that Wu has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Holm pushes Wu off looking to stand but Wu dives back in and keeps control.
Wu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Holm has hold of Wu's hands but Wu slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Holm looks like he's trying to stand up.
Wu not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Holm is trying to stand back up but Wu is controlling him
Wu working Holm over with strikes. Holm is looking to escape. Wu scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Wu lands with a punch from half guard. Wu working the head and body with strikes. Holm is trying to stand back up but Wu is controlling him
Holm taking some punishment here, with Wu in his half guard. Wu is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Wu winds up and cracks Holm with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wu lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Wu thows a huge punch but Holm dodges it nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wu throwing shots but Holm is blocking nicely. Holm regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Wu. Wu landing with the ground and pound. Holm working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Wu. Wu cracks Holm with a solid left hand. Wu trying to control but Holm is working from the bottom. Wu throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Wu advances to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wu is trying to control. Holm wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Holm is looking to escape. Holm is refusing to be controlled, as Wu sits in half guard. Holm pushes Wu off but Wu dives into side control.
Holm really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Holm is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Wu is controlling him well. Wu is working Holm over with some ground and pound from side control. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Holm can do anything to dispel that myth. Wu fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Wu tries to advance to mount but Holm denies him. Holm is trying to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Charlie Wu dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Holm misses with a wild body shot. Wu fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Wu shoots for a double leg takedown but Holm sprawls well. He's pushed Wu's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. The fighters circling - Holm throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Wu changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Wu shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Holm pinned against the cage. Holm gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charlie Wu. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wu feints and as Holm raises his hands in defense, Wu changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Holm wants to stand and escape but Wu is having none of it. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Wu here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Wu is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Wu has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Wu throws an elbow that misses. Holm uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Wu's guard. Nice move by Holm! Holm wants to stand but Wu has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Wu is working an open guard so Holm takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Wu shoots in but Holm avoids the takedown attempt easily. Wu dives in and grabs Holm's left leg, looking for a takedown. Holm pushes down on Wu's head and hops out. Holm looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Wu tries for a takedown but Holm circles away easily and Holm counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Wu fails with a takedown attempt. Holm appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Holm on the wrong end of a nice jab. Wu is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Holm can do to turn this around? Holm takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Holm keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Wu. Holm looks like he wants to counter punch here. Wu pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Holm throws out a counter right but Wu avoids it with no problem. No luck with that takedown attempt from Wu. It seemed like Holm was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wu swings widly with a right hand
and Holm counters with a lovely straight right hand! Martin Holm is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Holm blocks a jab. Wu lands a jab to the nose. Nice straight punches there by Wu. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Wu. Wu shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Holm sprawls well. Holm wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wu gets slowly back to his feet. It seemed like Holm was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wu cracks Holm with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Martin Holm will probably get the nod - 10:9. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Wu shoots in but no luck this time. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Holm! But no joy. Wu fails with a takedown attempt. Wu tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Holm swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charlie Wu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wu shoots in and drives through. Holm sprawls well. Nice sprawl there from Holm as Wu shoots in. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Holm! But no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Holm displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wu throws out the jab. A little jabbing left from Holm on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Charlie Wu is winning the standup battle so far. A slow jab from Wu misses its intended target. It seemed like Holm was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Wu connects with a nice looking jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Holm uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Wu. Wu dives in for a single leg takedown but Holm sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Holm throws out a counter right but Wu avoids it with no problem. Wu misses with an uppercut. Wu rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Holm to counter with a crisp jab. Wu with a poor takedown and Holm counters with a straight right hand. Wu throws a shot from downtown. Holm moves away and avoids it. Holm is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Wu with a body shot. Wu misses with an uppercut
and Wu takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wu is rocked! Wu walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Holm swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Martin Holm! A very excited looking Martin Holm rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
