Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Talavou Alelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josef Dietrich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Talavou Alelo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Josef Dietrich! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dietrich shoots in and bounces Alelo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Dietrich wants to control from the top but Alelo keeps moving. Dietrich working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Alelo keeping busy, throwing shots from the bottom. Dietrich trying to control the position from guard on top but Alelo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dietrich drops back, looking for a kneebar! Alelo looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Alelo looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Alelo! Alelo working away. Dietrich parries the strikes from Alelo easily there. Alelo is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Dietrich to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Alelo creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Dietrich sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Dietrich is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Alelo off and has taken his back! Dietrich is looking for the choke from the back position but Alelo is controlling his hands well. Dietrich patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Alelo tries to escape but Dietrich has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dietrich slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Dietrich is looking to control Alelo but Alelo is wriggling around and keeping busy. Alelo tries to escape the position.

Alelo wants to pass the guard but Dietrich is keeping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dietrich had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Alelo is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Dietrich Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Alelo's back instead. Alelo trying to control the hands but Dietrich breaks the grip. Alelo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dietrich on the ground. Alelo is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Alelo wants to escape the position.
Dietrich not allowing Alelo to control his hands. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Dietrich avoiding Alelo 's attempts to control his hands. Alelo is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
