Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Von Erich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Von Erich's entrance music is La Grange. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Bart Greer and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Von Erich with a nice cross.
Donk. Von Erich catches James right on the button with a cross.
Von Erich throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent James stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Von Erich just misses with a punch to the body.
Von Erich ducks down and throws a hook to the body but James moves away.
James with a poor takedown
and Von Erich makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Von Erich tried to score with a low kick but James checks it.
Von Erich scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
James walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
It looks like Ricky James has been cut.
Von Erich cracks James with an open hand slap.
Von Erich is looking to slow James down with leg kicks.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
James tries for a takedown but Von Erich circles away easily
and Von Erich counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A decent looking cross lands there for Von Erich.
That's one minute gone in the round.
James gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! James tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Von Erich is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and James buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves James!! James is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Von Erich throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Von Erich!
Jumping up and down and very excited, David Von Erich waved his t-shirt featuring Hellraiser FightGear's logo in front of the cameras.
