Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Jay Hakopa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick McGuire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hakopa comes to the ring accompanied by Not Many. McGuire comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dropkick Murphys - The Warrior's Code kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire throws a low kick, looking for Hakopa's leg but Hakopa calmly moves out of range.
Hakopa looks to land a right hand but McGuire moved out of range.
Nice uppercut lands for McGuire. That snapped Hakopa's head back.

McGuire throws a leg kick which misses Hakopa's front leg but catches the back leg as Hakopa tries to avoid it.

Hakopa lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
McGuire thuds a left hand into Hakopa's body.

Hakopa is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McGuire.

McGuire breaks the clinch momentarily and cracks Hakopa with a big right hook that drops him to the canvas! Hakopa looks like he might be in big trouble here! The referee has started the count straight away and we're up to 5 already. Hakopa get to one knee - can he make it back to his feet? No, he's flopped back to the mat - he's out - this one is all over!

A relieved looking Patrick McGuire thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
