The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minard has his takedown stuffed
and Thai counters with a straight right hand.
Thai stuffs the takedown attempt from Minard. Minard gets slowly back to his feet.
Thai digs a good body shot into Minard's ribs.
Minard shoots for a double leg takedown but Thai sprawls well. He's pushed Minard's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
