Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roger Cantor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Warren Peace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peace has chosen AC/DC Thunder Struck as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 19 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roger Cantor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Warren Peace! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cantor fails with a takedown attempt. Peace shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Peace was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Cantor is looking for a sweep. Peace is looking to take a break and control but Cantor is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Peace is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Cantor will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cantor tries to get back to half guard but can't. Cantor is working hard here to advance position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peace looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Cantor is looking for a sweep. Peace is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Cantor trying to remain calm as Peace controls from the top position. Cantor's coaches at Spetznaz Training Center have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. It looks like Peace might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Cantor can't do much from the bottom here. Cantor is looking to reverse the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Peace is looking to take a break and control but Cantor is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Cantor is looking to regain half guard here but Peace keeps moving and retains side control. Cantor wants to control but Peace postures up. Peace tries for a kimura but Cantor is defending well. Peace wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cantor keeps working. Cantor is looking for a sweep. Peace takes a little break here. Cantor wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cantor tries to improve position but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cantor is not content to let Peace control the position. Cantor tries to bench press Peace off him but Peace keeps the position. We've been informed that Peace has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Cantor is trying to control Peace's posture but Peace avoids it.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Peace defending well as Cantor loads up on a big left hand. Peace lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Cantor tries to score a power double leg takedown but Peace sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cantor somewhat. Peace appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Cantor throws an off balance right hand
and Peace counters with a straight right hand. Peace closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cantor did well to prevent Peace getting side control. Cantor trying to get back to full guard but Peace takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Cantor tries to get back to half guard but can't. Peace controlling the pace for now. Cantor bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Peace not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Warren Peace dominated that round. That's time! Cantor's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Cantor shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Peace looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Cantor closes this distance looking for a takedown but Peace circles away. Peace looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Cantor! Peace trying to control the action but Cantor is working from the bottom. Peace has been the more effective fighter overall so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cantor struggling a bit here. Peace wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cantor keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peace controls the position from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Peace working away. Cantor tries to buck Peace off but Peace is having none of it. Cantor is trying to control Peace's posture but Peace avoids it. Peace is looking to take a break and control but Cantor is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Peace is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Cantor has escaped the position, nice work there. Peace trying to control the position but Cantor is working away. Peace just content to control the position. Peace's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Cantor is looking for a sweep. Cantor gets back to half guard. Cantor is controlling Peace's trapped leg to prevent Peace from advancing to side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cantor won't allow Peace to pass to mount. Peace seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Peace lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Cantor has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roger Cantor. That's going to take a lot out of him. Peace uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cantor. Cantor shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Warren Peace has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Peace looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Peace is refusing to be controlled, as Cantor sits in half guard. Peace is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Cantor pulls his head out easily. Peace actively working from the bottom here. Peace looking for submissions off his back. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Cantor working the head and body with strikes. Peace looking for submissions off his back. Peace looking for a kimura from the bottom but Cantor passes into side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Warren Peace showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Cantor throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Peace tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Cantor is in Peace's guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Peace is on top in guard.
Peace wants to pass the guard but Cantor is keeping the position. Peace trying to control the position from guard on top but Cantor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cantor had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Peace defends it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cantor working a defensive guard here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Peace trying to control the position from guard on top but Cantor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Peace slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Cantor is looking for a triangle but Peace pushes his legs off easily.
Peace preventing the sweep. Peace is stalling in the full guard. Cantor might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Peace preventing the sweep. Cantor is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Peace defends well. Peace is pushing down on Cantor's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cantor is fighting to maintain full guard but Peace has managed to sneak the leg through. Peace is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Peace is trying to control the action in half guard but Cantor is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Cantor is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Peace trying to control the action but Cantor is working from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Cantor works the jab nicely. Peace's jab looks to have found its range, popping Cantor under the eye. Cantor closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Peace's guard. Cantor scoring with punches to the head and body. Cantor tries to free his leg and advance position but Peace is retaining full guard. Peace throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Warren Peace is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Peace is trying to hold Cantor in close to prevent damage but Cantor has managed to pass into half guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Roger Cantor showed his dominance in that final round. Well Peace has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
