Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Danny Tucker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brotha Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie has chosen Tupac - Last Muthafucka Breathin' as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Danny Tucker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brotha Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Tucker shows good takedown defense.
Tucker keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Tucker cracks Gracie with a right hand to the side of the head.
Gracie takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Gracie gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Gracie looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Gracie has Tucker pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Tucker manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Danny Tucker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brotha Gracie.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A short body shot lands from Tucker as the two fighters clinch.

Gracie changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tucker fights it off and pushes away nicely.

A solid leg kick lands there for Tucker.
Tucker uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gracie.

Gracie throws a right hand that misses
and Tucker counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Tucker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gracie moves away.
Gracie connects with a single shot there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tucker has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Tucker there as he acknowledges the shot.
Gracie staying out of range there.
Gracie misses with a hook
and Tucker counters with a stiff right hand.
Tucker moves away from the strike by Gracie.
Gracie's jab looks to have found its range, popping Tucker under the eye.
Tucker connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Gracie momentarily.
Tucker seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Tucker gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Tucker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tucker tries to clinch there but Gracie circles away.
Gracie rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tucker moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gracie on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Gracie stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Tucker.
Gracie avoids the body shot from Tucker.
Tucker chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Tucker ducks under a wild hook from Gracie.
A slow jab from Tucker misses its intended target.
Gracie is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Tucker tries to clinch but Gracie is having none of it.
Danny Tucker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

And Gracie tries to counter it with a takedown but Tucker pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Tucker misses with a hook.
It seemed like Gracie was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Gracie tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tucker defends well and Gracie ends up having to push Tucker into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Gracie steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tucker.

Tucker moves out of range as Gracie strikes.
Tucker throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Gracie! But no joy.
Gracie keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gracie misses with a few strikes there.
A big right from Tucker misses.
Gracie displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tucker throws out the jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gracie uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Tucker has time to react.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Tucker closes the distance and clinches.
Gracie throws a knee to the head but misses.

Gracie breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gracie throws a left and a right that both miss
and Tucker counters with a straight right hand.
Brotha Gracie is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Gracie scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gracie is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tucker defends it well.
Tucker is controlling Gracie's trapped leg to prevent Gracie from advancing to side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Gracie frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Gracie looking for a guillotine from mount but Tucker is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Gracie lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Gracie looking to land elbow strikes but Tucker uses the position to regain half guard.
Tucker tries to get to full guard but Gracie has control of the leg.
Gracie misses with a head shot. Tucker uses the momentum to regain guard.
Tucker utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Tucker tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Gracie has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Gracie is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Tucker is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Tucker has escaped and now he's on top!


Gracie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Gracie can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Tucker controls the pace.
Tucker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.

Tucker wants to pass the guard but Gracie is keeping the position.

Gracie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Gracie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tucker doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tucker manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gracie is on top in guard.

Tucker on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tucker tries to get out of the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Tucker preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Tucker is pulling down on Gracie's head. It's preventing any offense from Gracie, at least for the moment.
Gracie passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Brotha Gracie showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


The fight stays on the outside here - Tucker looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gracie takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A nice inside leg kick there by Tucker. That's going to slow Gracie down.
Tucker throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Gracie is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Tucker to keep the fight standing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gracie wants to take the fight to the mat but Tucker manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Gracie moves out of range of the body kick from Tucker.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gracie is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tucker doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gracie.
