Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ruben Escandon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Choakaho Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Escandon comes into the arena with Knock The Black Off Yo Ass by Three 6 Mafia blaring out of the sound system. Ruben Escandon has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ruben Escandon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Choakaho Savage!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escandon lands a nice hook to Savage's body. Savage takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Escandon looks to land a right hand but Savage moved out of range.
Escandon throws a big shot that misses.
Escandon shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Savage shoots in looking for a takedown. Escandon tries to sprawl out of it but Savage keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Escandon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Savage changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Escandon tries to avoid it but Savage manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Escandon to the ground. Escandon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Escandon misses with a hook. Savage ducked under it nicely.
Escandon throws a hook but Savage blocks it.
Escandon swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Savage slips under a jab.
Savage darts in and clinches Escandon up against the cage.
Escandon tries to land a knee to the head but Savage blocks with his arms.
Savage escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Escandon scores with the left hand. Savage knows he should have avoided that one.
Escandon could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Escandon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Savage ducks under a wild hook from Escandon.
Savage is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Savage looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round.

Escandon cracks Savage with an uppercut from hell and Savage crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Escandon's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Savage is rocked!
Escandon postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Savage covers up, he's hurt! Escandon keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Escandon and the ref steps in to end the fight! Escandon can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ruben Escandon!
