Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
26 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Mo Frazier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
30 - 28 - 1, fighting out of New York, Edmundo Edilhson! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frazier fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Frazier has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Liverpools Red Tri-Angle MMA & Fitness in the buildup to the fight. Danga de danga de dang - Frazier scores with a four punch combination! Frazier is looking to clinch. Frazier misses with a kick to the body letting Edilhson counter with a right hand. A punch lands to the side of Edilhson 's head but he takes it in his stride. Edilhson checks a low kick from Frazier. Frazier throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Edmundo Edilhson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Edilhson fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Frazier is out of range. Edilhson fails to land with a series of punches.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Frazier. Edilhson shrugs it off though. Edilhson throws the kick towards the body but Frazier avoids it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Frazier looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Edilhson moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Frazier slips a jab and a cross from Edilhson.
Frazier seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Edilhson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Frazier has managed to clinch.
Edilhson breaks from the clinch.
Edilhson takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Edilhson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Frazier to counter with a crisp jab. Frazier misses with a low kick. Edilhson is looking for the big counter here. Frazier throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Frazier moves into the clinch. Frazier's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Edilhson lands a nice hook to Frazier's body. Frazier takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. No joy there for Edilhson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Edmundo Edilhson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Frazier takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Frazier connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Edilhson momentarily.

and Frazier counters with a body kick. Frazier throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Edilhson's head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Edilhson keeps the fight on the outside. Frazier misses with a wild combination.
Edilhson looks like he wants to counter punch here. Frazier throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Edilhson. Edilhson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frazier shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Edilhson as he jumps to the side. Frazier swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Edilhson misses with a looping left. Frazier tries a head kick but it misses.
A lazy left from Edilhson finds it's target. A punch combination from Edilhson misses. Edilhson misses with a straight right. Frazier rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Edilhson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Edilhson darts in and clinches Frazier up against the cage. Frazier lands with a short head shot on the inside. Edilhson pushes Frazier back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Frazier is trying to break the clinch but Edilhson has him pressed against the cage. Edilhson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Frazier moves out of range as Edilhson strikes. Frazier ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Edilhson moves away. Edilhson swings for the body but Frazier moves out of range.
Edilhson rushes Frazier and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frazier is looking to take this one to the mat. Frazier breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Frazier throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. It seemed like Edilhson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Frazier takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Mo Frazier has been cut. Frazier scores with a jab. Edilhson acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Frazier takes a swing at Edilhson's ribcage but misses. Edilhson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Frazier will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Frazier scores with a decent looking hook. Frazier swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Frazier moves into range and clinches up with Edilhson. Edilhson prevents Frazier from breaking the clinch. Edilhson is working Frazier over against the cage. Frazier lands a right hand that snaps the head of Edilhson backwards. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Frazier goes for a takedown in the clinch but Edilhson prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mo Frazier. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Frazier's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Frazier is looking to clinch. Frazier throws a sloppy head kick and Edilhson moves out of range easily. Frazier fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Edilhson, pushing him back against the cage. Frazier breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Edilhson lands with a right hand. A left lands for Edilhson. Edilhson wants to clinch up but Frazier keeps it at a distance. Frazier lands a front kick. Frazier pushes Edilhson up against the cage in a clinch. Frazier escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Edilhson misses with a body shot
letting Frazier counter with a right hand. Frazier slips under a jab from Edilhson. Edilhson lands with a nice combination. Frazier backs away looking to recover. A bone on bone clash there as Frazier blocks the leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mo Frazier dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mo Frazier's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Frazier takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Edilhson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Frazier looks to throw a body kick and Edilhson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Frazier cracks Edilhson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
