Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bailey shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Bailey tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Kirkland keeps control of the position for the meantime. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kirkland has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Kirkland might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Bailey is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kirkland holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Bailey is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Bailey misses with a wild combination.
Bailey shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bailey was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Kirkland manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Bailey is trying to stand up here but Kirkland is controlling him well. Kirkland lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Bailey is trying to escape back to his feet but Kirkland uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Kirkland swings around for an armbar but Bailey sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kirkland's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bailey trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kirkland's guard. Kirkland controlling the position. Kirkland tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kirkland has his hands on Bailey's head, controlling the position. Bailey is looking to stand up but Kirkland won't let him. Bailey is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Kirkland has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Bailey is looking to defend but Kirkland has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Bailey! Kirkland pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Bailey taps out and this one is all over!
