Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Scott Watt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Head Coach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Watt comes to the cage accompanied by Edmund Fitzgerald. Head Coach has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Scott Watt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 14 - 3, fighting out of London, Head Coach! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Jorge Garcia and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coach throws a body kick that misses and Watt counters by moving into the clinch. Watt takes a knee to the side of the body. Coach prevents a body shot from Watt. Watt on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Coach misses with some punches.

Coach pushes Watt back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Watt misses with a knee to the head. Coach lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Watt lands an elbow just above Coach 's eye. Watt breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Watt throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A slow jab from Coach misses its intended target. Watt connects with a right hand. Coach shakes it off. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Watt connects with a crisp jab. Coach looks to land a right hand but Watt moved out of range. Watt looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Watt throws a hook but Coach avoids it easily. It seemed like Coach was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Scott Watt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Watt throws a head kick but Coach moves out of range.
Coach unleashes a big counter combination but Watt bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Watt has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Watt there as he acknowledges the shot. Watt throws a hook but Coach avoids it easily. Watt lands with a right hand. Coach thows a left - swing and a miss! Coach throws a hook but Watt avoids it easily. Coach looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Coach ducks under a wild hook from Watt. Coach cracks Watt with a right hand to the side of the head. Watt stuffs the takedown. Watt is looking for a counter combo. Watt has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Death Valley Training Facility in the buildup to the fight. Watt throws a shot from downtown. Coach moves away and avoids it. Coach lands a lovely overhand right. Nice defenses there by Coach. Coach circles away from the clinch attempt and Coach counters with a head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coach moves out of range of the strikes. Watt misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Coach! But no joy. Coach avoids the head kick by Watt.
A little jabbing left from Coach on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Coach keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Watt. A telegraphed right hand from Watt misses the target. Watt tries to close the distance and clinch but Coach swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Coach throws a good cross that connects.
Coach slips under a jab. Watt slips under a jab. Watt scores with a jab. Coach acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Watt throws a leg kick and Coach cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Watt drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Watt is rocked! Watt takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Oh Watt is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Coach fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Watt manages to avoid it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coach tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Watt seems to have got his legs back now. Coach throws a lazy right hand but Watt sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Watt takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Watt feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Coachs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Watt misses with a body kick. Watt is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Coach. Watt looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Watt throws a hook but Coach avoids it easily. Coach swinging wildly here.
Watt is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Coach throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Coach throws a jab when Watt was well out of range. Left hook, right uppercut from Watt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Watt uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Coach. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Watt bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Coach avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Watt defending well as Coach loads up on a big left hand. Coach misses with a two punch combination.

Watt goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Watt waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Coach. Watt throws a nice head kick!
Coach moves out of range of the leg kick from Watt. A jab from Coach finds it's way through Watt's defenses. Watt ducks under a wild hook from Coach. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Head Coach will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Coach slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Coach misses with a hook. Watt ducked under it nicely. Watt throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Coach counters with a body kick that stops Watt in his tracks momentarily. Coach uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Watt. A slow jab from Watt misses its intended target. Coach looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Watt throws a hook to the side of Coach's head but Coach sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Watt moves into the clinch. Watt blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Watt scores with an uppercut up the middle. Watt misses with an elbow over the top. Coach avoids the elbow strike from Watt, against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Watt lands a nice knee to the body. Watt pressing his opponent against the cage. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Coach as Watt tries to tie him up. Watt lands with a left to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Watt unloads a knee to the mid-section. Watt has Coach pushed against the cage. Watt avoiding damage as Coach throws knees to the body.
Coach working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Coach as Watt tries to tie him up. Coach utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Coach lands on the inside with an uppercut. A short uppercut from Coach. Coach makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Coach lands a knee to the body.

Watt is trying to maintain a safe position but Coach gets an underhook and turns Watt into the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Coach breaks the clinch.
Coach swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Watt throws a left and a right that both miss
and Coach counters with a stiff right hand. Coach dips to his left and cracks Watt with an uppercut! A punch combination from Coach misses. Head Coach seems to be getting the better of the standup. Coach with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Watt to score with a decent uppercut. Watt rushes Coach and presses him up against the cage. Watt can't find room to land a body shot as Coach controls the action.

Coach swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Head Coach seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Watt takes a shot to the head. Watt is looking to control Coach's arms but Coach gets an underhook and turns him. Now Watt has his back to the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Watt swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Coach is working for takedown but Watt is calmly controlling the position for now. Watt managing to block the knees to the body from Coach.
Watt gets through Coach's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Coach manages to break the clinch.
Coach dodges the punch combination from Watt.

Coach takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Watt looks to land a left hand but Coach moved out of range nicely. Watt pushes Coach up against the cage in a clinch. Coach tries a body shot but Watt blocks it.

Watt breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Coach swinging wildly here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Watt tries to clinch up and Coach counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Coach checks a leg kick. Coach pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Jab from Coach. A swing and a miss from Coach. Coach thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Watt if he has to take too many more of those.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Head Coach showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Coach scores with a kick to the midsection. Watt plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! A kick lands to the mid section there for Coach. Watt throws a head kick that misses. Watt lands with a slapping head kick. Watt is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Coach is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Watt misses with a head kick.
Watt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Coach lands an overhand right. Coach tries a head kick but it misses.

and Coach counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Watt throws a lazy right hand but Coach sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Coach scores to the head and body with a nice combination! A decent looking body kick lands there for Coach. Coach throws a leg kick but Watt sees it coming and checks it nicely. Coach rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Watt counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Watt. Coach looking for a takedown. Watt trying to stall but Coach improves his position.
Watt throws a knee to the head but misses.
The referee calls for Coach to work.
Watt tries to work over Coach's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Watt looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Coach has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Watt - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Coach, and another! Watt is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Head Coach! Post fight, an emotional Head Coach said 'I needed this win, I want to claw my way back. Simon, give me a rematch mate!!'.
