The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Michael Johnstone and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mercurio defending well as Rokocoko loads up on a big left hand.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Mercurio has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Rokocoko ducks right into an uppercut from Mercurio.
Rokocoko looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mercurio needs to keep his hands up - Rokocoko had a free shot at his head there.
Rokocoko throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mercurio walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Rokocoko misses with a double jab
and Mercurio counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Mercurio scores with a jab to the jaw.
Mercurio throws a body punch but Rokocoko moves out of range.

Mercurio misses with a leg kick
and Rokocoko cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Mercurio connects with a body shot that sends Rokocoko's belly button to the back.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Rokocoko counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Mercurio throws a right hand that misses
and Rokocoko counters with a three punch combo that has Mercurio backing up. Mercurio nods at Rokocoko to acknowledge the strikes.
Mercurio is rocked!
Mercurio throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A counter left hand to the body from Rokocoko misses its target.
Mercurio is still on wobbly legs! Can Rokocoko finish him?
Rokocoko fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Mercurio square on the jaw! Damn, Mercurio is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
