Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magomedkhan Gamztkhanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ravnity Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gamztkhanov's entrance music is Crowbar - Planets Collide. A fine choice. Pain comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Paint It Black kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ravnity Pain will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Magomedkhan Gamztkhanov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ravnity Pain!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pain will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Pain misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gamztkhanov.

Pain tries to lock up and control but Gamztkhanov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
We've been hearing good reports from Gamztkhanov's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pain is trying to control Gamztkhanov's posture but Gamztkhanov avoids it.
Pain is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Gamztkhanov asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Pain lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gamztkhanov circles away quickly and effectively.
Pain thuds a left hand into Gamztkhanov's body.

Pain is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Gamztkhanov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gamztkhanov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Pain working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gamztkhanov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gamztkhanov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Pain can't keep his opponent in guard - Gamztkhanov advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Gamztkhanov is taking a breather. Pain says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Gamztkhanov is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Pain!
Gamztkhanov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Gamztkhanov has hold of Pain's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Pain manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Pain is controlling an arm, preventing Gamztkhanov from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Gamztkhanov is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Pain can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Pain is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Pain stopping the sweep attempt from Gamztkhanov.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gamztkhanov is on top in guard.

Gamztkhanov won't allow Pain to get back to his feet.
Gamztkhanov stands and throws Pain's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The strikes coming from Gamztkhanov are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Gamztkhanov in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Pain is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
